Attack On The Sets Of Mahie Gill-Karishma Sharma’s Fixer: CM Devendra Fadnavis Orders Probe

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has called for a probe on the attack on the sets of Ekta Kapoor’s web series, Fixer. This was after actress Mahie Gill, Tigmanshu Dhulia and other crew members from the web series met Fadnavis on Thursday to seek justice.

The crew alleged that the assailants and local police were hand in glove on this. The two had claimed that the production unit did not have permission to shoot at the particular site.

The ghastly attack on the crew took place while they were shooting at Gaimukh on Ghodbunder Road. SpotboyE.com was the first to break this news. Allegedly, the police had demanded money to release the unit’s equipment. The CM has ensured that if found guilty, action would be taken against the police officer concerned. “Strict action will be taken if any police official is found responsible for delay in the investigation or performing duty," said the CM.

Ashoke Pandit, president of Indian Film Television Directors' Association (IFTDA) had got in touch with the CP and CM, requesting for an intervention.

SpotboyE.com broke the news of this shocking incident which took place on-the-sets of Kaal director Sohum Shah’s web series (Fixer) starring Karishma Sharma and Mahie Gill, when 5-6 men barged into the sets and ransacked it in no time. They were armed with metal rods and sticks. While Mahie and Karishma almost escaped the attack, the sets were damaged heavily.

We also told you that the police had arrested 4 goons in the case yesterday. 2 of them identified as Krishna Sonar and Sonu Das. The 4 of the accused have been booked under heavy sections, which are all non-bailable.
